Sea lions lounge on a buoy in Long Beach Harbor. The dome shaped building (left background) was formerly home of the famous Spruce Goose (largest flying boat ever built) but now operates as a cruise ship terminal. We took a 45 minute harbor cruise which allowed me to take this photo.
Long Beach is a one hour train ride from Union Station, Los Angeles. When I think of Long Beach I remember ice cream from Cold Stone and the warm sun beating down on me. However there’s more to Long Beach than ice cream. Here are a few images that take me back.
