Travel Theme: Tilted

"No. 2" (Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA)

“No. 2” (Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA)

The wind swept rims of the Grand Canyon have a tendency to bend and shape the landscape around it.  The juniper tree in the image “No. 2” above is no exception.

Below, a passing sand storm through Tonapah, Nevada disturbs a couple enjoying their McDonalds sundaes and causes the umbrella shades to tilt.

See here for more submissions for this weeks Where’s My Backpack? travel theme.

"Would you like sand on your sundaes?"

“Would you like a sprinkling of sand on your sundaes?”

  2. Great photos. The McDonalds one looks very retro – something about the light perhaps.

  4. The photo of the tree is beautiful, as though the tree is taking a bow 🙂
